mor|dent «MR duhnt», noun. Music.
1. a grace note or embellishment consisting of the rapid alternation of a tone with another tone usually a half step below it. There are two kinds: the single (short) with one alternation, and the double (long) with two or more.
2. = pralltriller. (Cf.pralltriller)
